Barbara and Nolan Kerschner

After returning from World War II, Nolan Kerschner started a handy-man business, which would eventually become Kerschner Development LLC in 1972. He passionately grew his business and expanded his family over the years, marrying Barbara and having four children. Barbara helped run the business by doing the book-keeping, and eventually three of their four children joined the family business. Barbara and Nolan Kerschner retired in the late 1990s.

Patricia and Steve Kerschner

Steve Kerschner began his career in construction in 1972 when he joined his parents' construction company as a laborer. Over the next twenty years he helped Kerschner Development to expand and built hundreds of condominiums and brought his knowledge of the construction industry to the single family residential market. Steve’s wife, Patricia, would also join the family business by becoming the primary accountant and interior designer for the company. Steve has two children, a son, Bryan, and a daughter, Katy. Steve and Patricia retired in 2018.

Bryan Kerschner

Bryan joined the family business in 2008. In 2018 he took over Kerschner Development LLC as President of the company, bringing the knowledge and passion of his grandfather and father to his work. Since joining the company in 2008, Bryan has been part of the construction of a combination of spec and custom homes, and renovation projects. Bryan also served two terms on the Norwalk Facilities Construction Commission. He currently resides in Norwalk, CT.

In the early 1990s the Kerschners acted as general contractors for several not-for-profit projects in Norwalk, Bridgeport, Danbury and Litchfield. These included projects for the Norwalk Housing Authority and Action Housing. The Kerschners also volunteered their time and resources to Americares.
